Check status of Veeam services<\/p>\n

Get-Service Veeam*<\/pre>\n

Before upgrade stop all your Veeam jobs and disable all Veeam services and restart server.<\/p>\n
 Set-Service VeeamBackupSvc -StartupType Disabled\n Set-Service VeeamCatalogSvc -StartupType Disabled\n Set-Service VeeamCloudSvc -StartupType Disabled\n Set-Service VeeamDeploySvc -StartupType Disabled\n Set-Service VeeamMountSvc -StartupType Disabled\n Set-Service VeeamNFSSvc -StartupType Disabled\n Set-Service VeeamTapeSvc -StartupType Disabled\n Set-Service VeeamTransportSvc -StartupType Disabled<\/pre>\n
Once the server is back online run the setup.exe, accept the license and click Next<\/p>\n

Setup will inform you about detected previous version<\/p>\n
\"veeam2\"<\/p>\n
 <\/p>\n
and recognize that you have already licenced version. If you want to provide new license number just click Browse and add new license file.<\/p>\n

Veeam 9.5 require Microsoft System CLR Types for SQL2014 and Management Objects. And if you didnt install it already, it will inform you. You have the option to install it now .. just press Install.<\/p>\n

once installed  you can click Next and continue with upgrade.\"veeam6\"<\/p>\n
Choose under which account will be your Veeam Backup & Replication service running.<\/p>\n
\"veeam7\"<\/p>\n
Choose a database instance. I am using local MSSQLDB.<\/p>\n
\"veeam8\"<\/p>\n
Setup will ask if you are sure to use this database and if required upgrade it.<\/p>\n
\"veeam9\"<\/p>\n
Now all prerequisities are done and you can isntall upgrade.<\/p>\n
\"veeam10\"<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
.. and finished. Your Veeam Backup & Replication was upgraded to version 9.5\"veeam12\"<\/p>\n
You can connect ..<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n
after login as a last step server componnents will be upgraded.\"veeam14\"<\/p>\n

Once done you can use Veeam Backup & Replication and do backups.<\/p>\n
Note:<\/p>\n
