This brief demo shows the migration (vMotion) of a virtual machine that is running a live machine learning training exercise in the H2O Driverless AI tool from one host server to another within the VMware Cloud on AWS SDDC. The progress of the ML training in H2O is continued as the vMotion succeeds. We then vMotion the same VM back to its original host – showing a scenario where some maintenance had to be applied to the host server .
